Microsoft's defining console — the platform that won the early HD generation and built Xbox Live into the centre of online gaming. Its collecting market is shaped more by delisting than by age: the 360 carried an unusually large number of licensed and digitally-tied titles, and as music, film and sports rights expired and the storefront aged, a long list of games left sale, leaving physical discs as the only way to own them. Add single-print collector's editions of flagship shooters and RPGs, and the collectible 360 becomes a market of editions and disappearances — an emerging-collectibility platform where the title you can no longer download is the one that matters.
