Coleco's ColecoVision threatened to define the post-crash market before the crash arrived. Mattel's Intellivision held the technical lead briefly. GCE's Vectrex shipped its own CRT. The 3DO Company licensed hardware to Panasonic, Goldstar, and Sanyo. Philips's CD-i, Commodore's Amiga CD32, Bandai's WonderSwan, Casio's Loopy. Each one a distinct culture, each one a distinct collector market.
